Some news from the vineyard
After a harsh and often snowy winter, the vine is reawakening, and maybe too quickly.
Night-moths (those parasites called "coupe-bourgeons" which, at nightfall, appear in vinestocks) and other grape-worms (insects which eat the flower buds) had little time to act. The vegetation started to grow rapidly due to hot temperatures (26°C on April 7th) ... reminding us of 2007.
