Some news from the vineyard

After a harsh and often snowy winter, the vine is reawakening, and maybe too quickly.
Night-moths (those parasites called "coupe-bourgeons" which, at nightfall, appear in vinestocks) and other grape-worms (insects which eat the flower buds) had little time to act. The vegetation started to grow rapidly due to hot temperatures (26C on April 7th) ... reminding us of 2007.
